Easy Crochet Hat – Any Size

Hi Everyone!

This hat is really easy to make and will work up really quickly if you use a chunkier yarn. It can be made in any size (from tiny baby to adult). I have made up a handy size chart that should be able to help you with your sizing.

If you prefer a video tutorial, you can find the video here –

Making the sides of the hat – Work 1 HTC in each stitch around. Join the round with a SS and CH 1. Keep working around until your hat reaches the desired length that you would like.

To make the brim – Work 1 HTC into the first stitch of the round then work 1HTC in the 3Lp of each stitch of the round (see YouTube video if you are unsure where to work your stitches). Join the round with a SS and CH 1. Keep working around until your hat brim reaches the desired length that you would like. Once you have reached your desired size, join the round with a SS, CH 1 and fasten off.
